Great location, right at the centre of Bandar. Only 5 minutes walking distance from the Riverside, the grand Mosque, the shopping malls and the museums as well as the night food market. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. And the host was very nice, providing important I formation and responding to WhatsApp messages super fast.
Nothing to complain in general.

De geweldige locatie van dit hostel zorgt ervoor dat je alle bezienswaardigheden snel kunt zien en leuke boottochtjes kunt maken. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren die je graag helpen indien er iets niet oke is, zou hier zeker weer verblijven.
Het hostel is wat oud, maar het bed ligt goed en het is schoon

Fantastic location and very effective air conditioning. Self- check-in was easy, although being cash-only was a slight pain. Plenty of flip flops available for use - you'll want to use them in the bathrooms as they're not always the cleanest! Free tea and instant coffee was also appreciated.
I was also impressed by the flexibility of check-out. I did not need it, but my roommate had an evening flight and was allowed to hang around all day because the hostel wasn't busy.
Mattress is covered by an uncomfortable plastic sheet and the bathrooms were filthy. Toilet paper was stained yellow and looked as if someone had urinated on it - this was not replaced for my entire 3 day stay.
I'm also slightly concerned by the padlock on the main door at night - it's a very fiddly lock on the outside that you first have to open a lockbox to access - what are the protocols in the event of a fire?
