We stayed at La Dimora in Lago di Garda for three nights with my family and our dog, and we had a wonderful experience. ❤️
The house was very easy to find and check-in was super simple. The owner welcomed us personally, showed us around the house, and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try.
The house itself is spacious, beautifully refurbished, and very well equipped. It has two separate bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a multifunctional oven, dishwasher, electric hob, and fridge with freezer. Everything feels new and well maintained. There is also a lovely patio where you can relax.
One of the biggest surprises was the temperature inside! 🥵 We stayed during a period when it was around 40°C outside, but the house remained remarkably cool despite having no air conditioning. It felt almost half as hot as outside, and we slept really well every night.
The location is also very convenient if you have a car, as it’s easy to reach many places around Lake Garda. 🚗
And now for the most important bonus point: the owner has the sweetest senior male Golden Retriever, who absolutely LOVES tummy scratches. 🐕❤️ Honestly, I would give extra points for that alone! 😂
We would definitely recommend La Dimora, especially for families of up to four people travelling with a dog. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely come back! ❤️
The only thing worth mentioning is that the entrance to the house is on a quite narrow street. We had no problem at all with our Fiat Punto, and the owner drives a Dacia Duster, so it is perfectly manageable. I would just say that if you’re confident driving on narrow streets, it’s not an issue. 👍🏼

L'accoglienza, l'ordine nella casa unite al suo stile, la grandezza ideale e la bellezza degli ambienti mi hanno colpito oltre le mie aspettative. La Dimora è decisamente ideale per visitare i dintorni del lago di Garda e il famoso Vittoriale degli Italiani.
