The host was very helpful and proactive, Communication and instructions about how to reach the garage and the apartment were impeccable, every detail was covered. We did not have a slightest difficulty getting to the destination and finding both the garage and the apartment. The apartment is clean and everything is exactly as shown on the photos. All amenities provide for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The apartment was heated warm before our arrival- very thoughtful of the hosts and much appreciated ahead of the chilly evening.
The building is old, and it would be better to highlight this detail before- not after- booking confirmation. We managed well to get our suitcases upstairs and downstairs, but some other guests may have difficulties climbing the steep stairs from 19 century. The apartment is on the first floor and windows are looking out on the street climbing uphill. The road is getting busy as early as 0700 AM. Windows do offer some degree of sound protection, but vehicles accelerating as they climb up the road can be heard pretty well.
There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or towels on. The dryer can be used for towels, but clothes still need something to hang on.
