Sehr gute Lage zur Militärakademie. Das war für uns sehr wichtig, da wir unseren Sohn dort besuchten. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten. In der Nacht tropfte fortwährend irgendwo laut Wasser. Das war schon sehr störend.

Short walk to "downtown" for restaurants, the West Point visitor center, and stores (antique, grocery). Nice size mini frig for the fruit we bought. Looked to have had a recent update - paint, new carpet, crown molding.

Air conditioner - I think it was updated but knobs were not intuitive. Took 2 days to figure out which way to turn things to get it cooling down. Also, curtains were far enough away from window that that cooling air went up between the window and the curtains.

Hotel was convenient to Highland Falls and the grounds of West Point.

It was pricey for the type of room that I stayed in... The room felt dated. It wasn't bad, but I didn't feel that the room was a good value for the price I paid for two nights (total of $550). As a graduate of West Point, I know that supply/demand for rooms with the proximity to the Academy are limited.
