Horrible stay, I would not recommend to any one

We like the location

I am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with the condition and amenities of the flat during our stay. Regrettably, the experience fell far below acceptable standards, and I feel it is necessary to outline the numerous issues we encountered. 1. Cleanliness and Hygiene: The flat was not adequately cleaned prior to our arrival. The floors were visibly and physically unclean, and the bed linens and bath towels emitted an unpleasant odor, which made their use highly uncomfortable and unhygienic. 2. Bedding and Mattresses: The pillows were of substandard quality, appearing to be filled with makeshift materials that offered no proper support for sleep. Additionally, the mattresses were in an extremely poor condition worn-out and likely decades old making it nearly impossible to achieve a restful night’s sleep. 3. Ventilation and Temperature Control: The flat was excessively hot and lacked any form of cooling, such as a fan or air conditioning. Compounding this issue, the windows faced a busy street with significant noise levels until late at night, forcing us to keep them closed at all times. This created an unbearably stuffy and uncomfortable environment. 4. Wi-Fi Connectivity: Despite the property being advertised with Wi-Fi, no such service was available during our stay. Upon reviewing past reviews, I noted that this issue has been reported by previous guests months ago, yet it remains unresolved. It is unacceptable to advertise amenities that are consistently not provided. Given the above, it is deeply concerning that a property in Switzerland—a country known for its high standards would be rented out in such a condition. This experience has been disappointing and wholly unworthy of the amount paid. I kindly request a formal explanation and, where applicable, compensation for the significant inconvenience caused. Not worth staying.

Nothing to like,

I booked for 4 people , and found only three beds in the room. No hot water , like zero hot water , kitchen and kitchen ware is ok , no complaints there. The apartment is just above a busy street, so a lot of noise of the trafic , it was warm when I stayed to I had to open the windows and till mid night it was hell lot of trafic noise.

Cleanabd comfortable, but loud.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable, if short. Very easy walk into the old town.

Very, very loud. It overlooks a busy road and also there’s a bar across the street. Earplugs are a must.

Close to Altstadt. Actually nice building and surroundings. Ok price.

In need of complementary hardware like glass etc. Description of room should be updated to reflect the one living room only. When the weather is warm you need to sleep with windows open and the traffic is heavy.
