Staff was excellent. very friendly. No trouble at all. Safe and calm place, nothing to worry at all. You can stay and leave your stuff with peace of mind. Also close proximity to local highlights. Staff speaks both English and Sinhalese (In my case), no issue in communication. We parked both our vehicles with ease and safely.
Cleanliness of the rooms was an issue. When we checked in, there were potato chips and debris on the floor, plastic packets were under the beds in one of our rooms. Ants were everywhere. Could not not leave any food outside, even with wrappings. Very different from the rooms we saw on booking.com. Booked two rooms in advance with two double beds each (family rooms) but we got two double bed in one room and the other had one single bed and one double, it was hard for us to manage bed space with the kids. Beds were okay but not so comfortable. Shower did not work in one of our rooms. We managed as we had another room. No Wi-Fi signal inside our rooms. We did not have any city view or any outside view as advertised on booking.com, in fact our windows were sealed shut.
