I was looking for somewhere to stay while on a training weekend and found the Little House. It was the perfect base for me. Even though it's on a main road the house is tucked away at the end of the garden so very quiet and peaceful and with it being off a main road it means the transport links are excellent. I didn't need it but there is a bus stop just opposite the house with buses running to a few different areas. There are also a couple of convenience stores within walking distance so good for stocking up on any supplies for catering while there. The house itself is small but perfectly formed with everything I needed for my stay. Possibly a bit compact for 4 but ideal for 1 or 2 people. Its beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans for cooking and a cafetiere for coffee. Some condiments and cleaning supplies were provided so I didn't need to worry about buying any. No oven but the hob and microwave were sufficient. Nice sitting area for meals and comfy couch and TV for relaxing. The bedroom was spacious with a big wardrobe and hairdryer so didn't need to bring one. Compact en-suite but with everything needed. The hosts had thought of everything including a hanging rail for coats next to the front door. I didn't use them but there were a lovely couple of seating areas outside - a bench and a table and chairs for outside eating. Mike was a really responsive host, responding to my messages quickly and answering any questions I had. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and If I'm back in the area I would definitely stay here again.
Struggled a bit to get shower water to the right temperature but it was nice and hot when I did.
