The apartment is very nice, well equipped with kitchen, appliances, dishes, and air conditioners in both bedrooms. The staff were consistently very friendly and very helpful. The location is very convenient for anyone riding the EV17/VIA Rhôna bike route. There is a bakery in easy walking/biking distance.
There is no reasonable place to securely park bicycles overnight. The hosts were very flexible and cooperative, saying we could do anything we wanted short of actually bringing the bikes into the apartment. The problem is there is no reasonable place. Chaining them to the outside stairs is not secure, and the railings are too small. Bringing them into the entry stairwell is very difficult, to say the least, it is not only up about 10 stairs outside, but once in the door the landing is too small and the outside door is in the way; the only option is to carry them back down the inside stairs to the basement/garage landing, which is extremely difficult, and that landing is also quite small, it will hold three bikes at most, with great difficulty.
