The apartment was very nicely laid out and warmly, but stylishly, decorated. It contained all we needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the living room had a nice mix of relaxation and efficiency. The host, Sébastien, was super friendly and responsive, and we had a nice exchange of messages after our stay. We were there only for one night, but, since we didn't have the time to explore Verdun as much as it merits, we will return, and try to book the apartment again.
I liked the little tech details, such as the automatic lights in the hall, and the relaxing chair that makes on want to stay forever. The apartment is in a very central part of the town, and only a few steps away from a supermarket with amazingly long opening hours. So arriving without any food wasn't an issue, we could buy it right there. From the apartment, it is easy to explore the town, since everything is within walking distance.
Just a friendly tip (not a criticism, that's why I put it here), we like reading (as many people do), and it would be great if there was one extra standing lamp to read by, next to the couch or the relaxing chair. So that the slightly harsh ceiling lights can be switched off. That would give the room a touch more cosiness and complement the nice decoration.
It's all good.

Le confort, la décoration très poussée, les équipements, l’emplacement. Tout est cocooning . La literie géniale ainsi que la grandeur de l’appartement
Le bruit du voisinage au dessus qui nous réveille le matin et la rue assez bruyante aussi

Very central but quiet location in Verdun. Spacious and well-equipped apartment. (We were three men and two of us had a bedroom each and the other the sofa bed. Space was no problem. Excellent communications with the owner - Sebastien was v quick to respond and always helpful. Good value for money.
The furniture in the bedrooms was a bit sparse. Maybe a chair would have been nice and deeper bedside shelves. Also the toilet needs a washbasin.
