We stayed in this apartment in San Remo. There were only a few reviews, but we decided to book it anyway. Overall, we had mixed impressions.
The view is absolutely stunning and exactly as advertised.
The apartment is huge! It has four large bedrooms, three bathrooms (two with showers and one with a bathtub), and plenty of wardrobe and storage space.
The parking area is spacious and conveniently located nearby. However, carrying suitcases up three flights of stairs was quite challenging.
The awnings and shutters did an excellent job of keeping the apartment cool, even on hot sunny days.
The washing machine is located on the balcony, and there are plenty of drying racks there as well, which made doing laundry very convenient.
The apartment is quite worn and could use some renovation.
Only one set of keys is provided. If someone is sleeping, taking a shower, or simply staying inside, it's impossible for the others to get back into the apartment.
When we arrived, the floor was dirty. To the hosts' credit, it was cleaned the next day after we asked, but it should have been clean before our arrival.
The kitchen was poorly equipped. There was no electric kettle or microwave, the dishwasher was broken, the oven was dirty, and there were no kitchen towels. Basic cooking utensils such as a spatula and a ladle were also missing, making even something as simple as cooking an omelet difficult.
We were given only one large and one small towel per person. There were no shared hand towels or kitchen towels. One of the large towels even tore during normal use, as the towels are clearly quite old. One of the bathrooms also had no bath mat.
The balcony door was already in poor condition when we arrived. The handle was loose, making it inconvenient to use.

De vaatwasser was stuk, onderhoud was matig tegenover de prijs. Je merkt dat het veel verhuurt word.

L'appartamento offre spazi generosi, ideali per un soggiorno confortevole e rilassante. La zona giorno include una cucina abitabile e un ampio soggiorno doppio che si apre su una spaziosa terrazza. La zona notte comprende tre camere da letto, di cui due ampie e una con una vista mare mozzafiato. Sono presenti anche tre bagni e un locale lavanderia. Un elemento particolarmente sorprendente è la terrazza al piano superiore, estesa quanto l'appartamento stesso e perfettamente attrezzata per cene all'aperto o momenti di relax.
Posizione e comoda per tutti i servizi.
Direi che è andato tutto bene.

L'appartamento ha un enorme potenziale. È molto grande e spazioso, ideale per gruppi numerosi. La posizione è eccellente, con una splendida vista sul mare, la spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi e un supermercato Lidl e altri servizi nelle immediate vicinanze. Il vero punto di forza è la bellissima e ampia terrazza con una vista mare meravigliosa, dove è davvero piacevole trascorrere del tempo.
Purtroppo la nostra esperienza non è stata del tutto positiva e il soggiorno si è rivelato piuttosto stressante a causa dei numerosi problemi riscontrati.
Il primo inconveniente si è verificato già al nostro arrivo. Il check-in era previsto per le 15:00 e noi eravamo puntualmente davanti all'appartamento, ma nessuno ci ha fornito indicazioni chiare su come procedere. Quando finalmente abbiamo ricevuto il codice per aprire il box delle chiavi, con nostra grande sorpresa abbiamo scoperto che le chiavi non erano nemmeno al suo interno. Il personale delle pulizie ci ha poi informato che l'appartamento non era ancora pronto.
La pulizia lasciava inoltre molto a desiderare: cucina, bagno e terrazza erano sporchi. La cucina era anche sprovvista di diversi utensili essenziali, rendendo difficile cucinare.
Abbiamo riscontrato numerosi problemi con gli elettrodomestici. Il forno non si chiudeva correttamente, il frigorifero non funzionava adeguatamente e, soprattutto, l'aria condizionata era guasta. Con temperature di circa 35 °C, è stato davvero difficile soggiornare nell'appartamento. Per fortuna lunedì il signor Simone è passato all'appartamento per capire cosa fosse successo e riparare l'aria condizionata.
La sera del 31 luglio abbiamo deciso di cenare in appartamento. A fine cena abbiamo caricato la lavastoviglie e l'abbiamo fatta partire. Ha continuato a fare rumore per tutta la notte, destando anche una certa preoccupazione. La mattina successiva abbiamo però scoperto che tutte le stoviglie erano ancora sporche e che la pastiglia del detersivo era rimasta completamente intatta e secca: la lavastoviglie, quindi, non aveva mai lavato nulla.
Abbiamo segnalato più volte questi problemi, sia telefonicamente sia tramite messaggi, l'1 e il 2 agosto, ma durante tutto il soggiorno non è stato risolto praticamente nulla (a parte il giorno prima della partenza l'aria condizionata dal sig. Simone).
