Très bon, copieux, produit frais et confiture maison. Cadre très agréable. Accueil chaleureux par une dame charmante et aux petits soins pour ses clients. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir

L’accueil et la gentillesse

The house is very charming and the owner is indeed very friendly. She gave us tips for exploring the environment. There is a playground in the neigbourgood. The bed was good and I liked that you could close the window shields to make the room dark to go to sleep. The childrens bedroom was nicely done with toy stuffed animals.

We had high expectations because of the nice pictures and the very high ratings. They were unfortunately not met. The rooms were clean, but the terrace table, some of the plates and cups at breakfast were less clean. The handsoap in the bathroom was old and didn't look like I wanted to use it. But especially the breakfast was dissapointing. She told us the bread was frozen and would be warmed up in the morning because there was no bakery in town. While having breakfast however the baker delivered fresh bread while we were eating old bread, some of it tasted still fine, some just tasted old (for example the bread with the raisins). Otherwise it would have been nice, because she serves a lot of different varieties of bread and homemade jam. Unfortunately also the juice was expired (date 12/07 while we were there at 25/07). She bought it with 30% off in the store more than a week earlier (30% off in stores is when you buy almost expired food, so it should've been clear). However she told us she wasn't aware, but also told us elaborately you could still drink it without problems. She also offered the 1,5 year old toddler yoghurt (which was very friendly of her, because this was not included), but it was also expired (date 20/07). Because I was not happy about this she gave us back 10 euros for the toddler, which was a correct action in my view. So we parted on good terms, but I still wanted to write the review because I think some of the other reviews just take into account the friendlinness of the owner, but not the stay itself. The exceptionally high ratings (9.6 when we booked it) do not fit the stay.
