Good things first:
The apartment is perfectly situated. It's very close to a subway station and a major park, walking distance from the main Osaka transportation hub and a major shopping district, several restaurants, bars and kombinis are just around the corner. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and clean. The apartment itself is quite big by Japanese standards. The value for money was also quite good. Ten points for this.
Now the bad:
The check-in procedure was the most complicated, difficult and even humiliating of all that we had in the last 15 years at least, both in Japan and elsewhere. You have to submit tons of sensitive private information. Even worse: you get the last bit of instructions about the keys literally at the very last moment, at the doors, which makes your day and the previous one quite stressful. Every other property gave us the instructions at least 2 days in advance.
The owner explains it by government regulations for self check-in properties, but we stayed in 3 other self check-in apartments, one of which was in the same block of buildings, less than 2 minutes from this one. It obviously was under the same regulations, but it still managed to make check-in relatively smooth and decent, as every other property in Japan we stayed in, except for this one. Minus two points.
The room's amenities were rather basic. The slippers were the cheapest and least comfortable we had in Japan, the "wine' glasses were colored plastic juice glasses for kids, there was no salt, pepper or anything else that we routinely found in every other property. The windows were not soundproof. There's a busy street outside and you hear the noises from it during the night, not very loud but if you're a light sleeper, they may disturb you. In Tokyo we had a much busier street outside, but the windows were good and we didn't hear a thing. Minus another point.
Finally, the property charged us the local tourist tax separately and told us about that only after we already paid for the stay itself. It was very small, less than 5 EUR, but you have to leave the exact amount on the table - additional nuisance. Everyone else included the tax in the price.

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung zu viert genutzt, und unsere großen Koffer fanden genug Platz. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, allerdings nicht besonders gut lärmisoliert. Die Betten fanden wir bequem. Nen JapaDie Umgebung um den Eingang ist sehr schön in einer Seitenstraße, das Schlafzimmer geht Richtung vierspuriger Straße. Die Küche haben wir kaum genutzt, es gab keinerlei Gewürze oder anderes. Alle Informationen waren auch auf Englisch, das war sehr hilfreich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich, er hat uns auf Anfrage viele Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.
Wir fanden die synthetischen Handtücher und Bettwäsche sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, und ein Küchentuch wäre ganz angenehm gewesen. Der Self-Check-in hat bei uns nicht so gut funktioniert, war aber nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter schnell geklärt. Es gibt übrigens keinen Whirlpool, sondern nur eine Badewanne, aber das scheint ein Übersetzungsfehler von Booking.com zu sein, weil keine der von uns gemieteten Wohnungen im Japan einen Whirlpool hatten, obwohl angegeben.
