From the moment I arrived, the welcome from the owners was sincere and warm, the level of hospitality was wonderful and the food was exceptional. I had breakfast and dinner at the Villa each day and needed nothing in between. The quality and quantity were just perfect.
I loved being above to borrow a good quality and well maintained mountain bike to explore the area. The Villa is well placed in a quiet and green environment but is close to the bustling lakeside, where you can find excellent museums and art galleries as well as parks, viewpoints and lots of places to eat. I was not tempted by any of them, as the food I was given at the Villa was Michelin-star standard and the wine-list is extraordinary, being packed full of world class wines; from Opus One and DRC wines to Petrus and to fine Clarets, from Salon, Krug and Dom Perignon to a vertical of Chateau d'Yquem.
Everything was perfect and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Very friendly host - always striving to assist the guest and make their stay as pleasant as possible.
Very tasteful dinner and perfect food quality.
More variety at breakfast would be desirable.
