Location, wood burning stove, quiet
Kitchen would have been improved by a cafetiere, vegetable peeler and wooden spoons. One guest didn't find the nylon sheets comfortable.

A beautiful cottage, tastefully furnished, fabulous views from upstairs. Two good pubs within walking distance. There’s a train station just up the road which we made use of a few times
We found it a little cold, no radiator in the bedroom. We also had a problem with the shower, although there are instructions we couldn’t get it to work, had to use the bath which made hair washing difficult. Also only a basic (non-smart) tv

The cottage is in a great location and very near Danby Hall wedding venue which we were attending.
There is nothing to dislike about Lilac Cottage. It’s location and everything included made it feel like a lovely place to stay.
