The breakfast was well presented.
Sitting around the table with up to 8 others was a new but very enjoyable experience for us.
Maison Carre was clean and tidy and excellent value for money
We stayed five nights.
Montrichard has a good variety of restaurants from which to choose for our evening meal.
If you have a mobility problem please ask for a ground floor room..
Regulars do this and should we ever return then this would be our first request.

Charmante propriétaire très à l’écoute de ses hôtes. Très vaste chambre, une deuxième plus petite. Petit coin cuisine et grande salle de bains. J’ai apprécié de pouvoir garer la voiture à l’intérieur de la propriété, ce qui est sécurisant.

I booked the Maison Carre' for a group of 8 friends' trip to the Loire Valley before boarding a river cruise.
Our stay with Madam Evelyn was wonderful, and her hospitality definitely exceeded our expectations.
After spending 4 days in Paris in a small hotel room, each of our rooms was like staying in gigantic suites with
large sitting areas, king-size beds, and spacious bathrooms with large walk-in showers
The breakfasts were unbelievable, with fresh breads, pastries, and homemade jellies and jams made by our host.
We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, which we enjoyed in the garden before dinner.
The Chatuea's common area allowed us a wonderful place to spend time after a busy day of touring local wineries.
I can't thank Evelyn enough for sharing her family home with us. More memories made in this lovely home for this group of Travel Besties.
We were there during the hot heat wave Paris experienced this Summer.
However, our rooms had fans, and we slept comfortably with the windows open, allowing
the cool breeze to cool our rooms. Definitely not the fault of our wonderful hostess.
