Mimosa cottage is comfortable and has every thing there that you could possibly need. It is a huge detached property with loads of land and the most amazing sea view from the garden. It was quiet and we throughly enjoyed our time there. The hosts communicated with us about how to find it prior to our arrival and as a lovely added touch there were fresh flowers in a vase and they had left us a welcome card and a tin of biscuits. 😊 I would happily stay there again.
The only downside which really has nothing to do with the property itself, is the location. It is very much out of the way, which suited us just fine but it may not be for everyone. If you have any kind of disability or find it difficult to walk then you have to drive to get anywhere as it’s quite a way to get to the main road. There are no footpaths on the lane and there are no bus stops until you reach the main road.
There aren’t really any local shops either but we took food and essentials with us and we topped up while we were out for the day.
