I felt really welcomed, I had a very nice dinner with a good beer and even though I unfortunately don't speak any Japanese, it was pretty easy to communicate all my needs. Being a foreigner on the 3rd day in Japan, it was a great experience and it felt very authentic.
It became quite cold at night but the blanket was thick enough so not a big deal.

今回、久々の友人に友人と近鉄四日市駅付近でのことになりました。僕の住む場所は遠方であり、終電では帰れない立地にあったため、近くで安い宿はないかなーと、ブッキングドットコムを開きました。
多くはビジネスホテルの情報で、値段を見ても土日祝ということもあり、7,000円〜10,000円という飲んだ後泊まるだけの素泊まりにしては高いなと感じるところばかりでした。
そんな中3,900円という破格のお宿を見つけました。それが、この「おうち」でした。
予約後、詳細を知りたいと思っていたところ、おかみからブッキングドットコムを通じて、お問い合わせ先が流れてきて、アクセスしてみました。電話すると、とてもいい感じのオーナーで、一階の居酒屋の利用の仕方についても教えてもらいました。僕がこのお宿を気に入った理由の一つは、一階が居酒屋であるということでした。
宿泊の当日は、素敵なサービスを提供していただいたなと感謝しております。まず、16時頃に到着し、チェックインを済ませました。そして、近鉄四日市駅付近で友人と飲み、10時頃「おうち」に戻ってきました。「おうち」の一階の居酒屋は11時が閉店だったので、もう少しここで飲みなそおうと思い、暖簾をくぐりました。
カウンター席8席程度、テーブル席2席程でアットホームな空間で、ほぼ満席でした。
僕がものすごく良かったなと思ったのは、新規のお客さんも含めたみんなが、この一つの空間で和気藹々と会話していた雰囲気と、臨機応変な対応、お客様に対するサービス精神があることでした。
閉店が11時ということにもかかわらず深夜12時を回っても店内は依然として賑やかで、プラスαのサービスもあり、フレキシブルな対応をしついただいているなと感激しました。
バス、トイレ、アメニティなど宿泊施設にある一般的なものも完備されており、飲んでから2階に上がるだけというものすごく楽で安心して泊まれるお宿やなと思いました。
次もまた四日市で飲む際は、利用したいと思いました。
