i liked the stay property. The hotel receptionist/owner was sweet & helped me genuinely.
"Booking.com" is a FRAUDSTER !!! I made the booking well in advance. But on reaching the property, the owner told me that they had cancelled their tie-up with "Fab Hotels" long back, still "Booking.com" had booked my stay under the aegis of "Fab Hotel". My booking was not showing on their database/server/computer. I tried contacting the customer care number of "Booking.com" to talk to a HUMAN BEING, but i always got an AI-assisted voice message. I was too damn frustrated to pursue this further & i had no time as i had an urgent meeting immediately after. I had to manually separately make a booking with the hotel owner & hence had to pay the same amount AGAIN !!!!
I hope "Booking.com" & "Fab Hotel chain" ROTS IN HELL !!!!! You have proved meticulously that manually calling a hotel for bookings is MUCH BETTER THAN YOUR PLATFORM !!!
I swear NEVER TO USE YOUR PLATFORM EVER AGAIN in my life, and will make sure that my friends also remember this well !!
I want a FULL REFUND of my payment too !!!
I've had a similar experience in the past also. Companies like "Booking.com" think that fooling one customer won't harm their reputation, since they're such giants in the business !!!
Anyway, every dog has his day.....and someday, you too will face the collective wrath of customers !!!!
