Perfect location, 5 minute walk to the town, peaceful quiet site with the bonus of the lake Windermere on your doorstep. Clean and comfortable. Amazing communication from the owners from start to finish. Would highly recommend!!

I booked 2 nights at the 2 bedroom green lodge which has 1 double bed, 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed. The kitchen was well equiped with items such as cutlery, plates, pots and pans. The lodge has an undercounter mini fridge freezer which was very useful. It also had a gas 4 hob cooker which was very convenient for cooking/ reheating food. The lodge was very clean and pleasent to stay in. The living room area has comfortable sofa and TV for relaxing. We had access to hot water and no problems at all with our stay. There were plenty of extras such as tissues, bin bags, washing up liquid etc. Wifi signal was excellent with no issues.
The location of the lodge was exceptional. It is right next to Windermere lake and offers stunning views of the lake that can be directly accessed from the lodge. The area near the lake is very quiet and has picnic benches, perfect for a quiet moment. Be sure to check it out!
The location of the lodge is very close to venues such as the Windermere marina. It is within walking distance. You can hire an electric boat or get on bigger boats that take you on tour through Windermere Lake.
Plenty of shops near the lodge that is within walking distance, a local SPAR shop has many convenient every day items such as frozen chips, breakfast buns and much more.
The host's communication was excellent, responding very promptly. We had no problem locating the lodge or accessing it.

Location and concept of this property is amazing, situated just next to the Windermere lake, for beautiful mornings and walk. Very peaceful. One restaurant available, but petrol station just outside of the area is perfectly stocked with a lot of meal options. Very close to center of Bowness and everything accessible by walk. Welcome snacks and drink provided by the host was a nice touch.
It is quite small and narrow as this is a portable house, so there is a struggle if multiple people staying in. Beds are a bit unstable. No basic necessity such as hair dryer. Multiple reminders for check out timings and late check out option for extra payment.
