Die Lage ist hervorragend für alle, die ein gutes, günstiges Hotel mit toller Grünanlage und einem großen Pool als Ausgangspunkt möchten.
Von hier aus ist der Nationalpark Kakum ca 6 km, Cape Coast und Elmina Castle 1 gute Stunde entfernt.
Das Personal ist außerordentlich höflich und hilfsbereit, es gibt auffallend viele junge Angestellte. Auch die ganze Anlage wird ständig gereinigt, egal ob Gäste da sind oder nicht. Das habe ich noch nicht gesehen, dass auf Werteerhaltung soviel Wert gelegt wird.
Wir haben manchmal abgepacktes Knabberzeug gekauft von den Händlern gegenüber und wurden jedesmal vom Personal sehr nett daran erinnert, auf das Ablaufdatum zu achten. Wenn wir zum Pool gingen, brachte man uns innerhalb von Sekunden die Auflagen für die Liegen, die abends auch eingesammelt und sauber verwahrt wurden.
Die Matratze war sehr hart, aber das ist typisch für jede Unterkunft, in der wir bis jetzt übernachtet haben.
In unserem Zimmer fehlten Aufhänge- und Ablagemöglichkeiten. 2 Nachttischchen und ein Regal wäre toll gewesen. Allerdings bleiben hier die Gäste wahrscheinlich nur 1-2 Nächte wegen des Parks, so dass dies nicht so ins Gewicht fällt.
Moskitonetz gibt es keine an den Fenstern, die wäre aber wirklich nötig.

Pool and bar setting were a wonderful surprise- great ambience, simple furniture, cold beer, nice lighting and completely sheltered from the traffic/noise of main road just beside. Staff were professional, friendly and anticipated our needs. (For example, ran across the road to buy roasted ground nuts to go with our beer and organized transport in one quick call.) Rooms worked well- small and functional. Food was fine, especially when eaten on the outdoor terrace. You can get to Kakum National Forest, or Cape Coast or the local market by flagging down a ride in the vans which are plentiful!

Food rather expensive like in rest of Ghana and food not always of acceptable quality. Sometimes very good.

The room had a good size and was comfortable, we were happy about this considering the price is very affordable. The location is quite nice if you are visiting Kakum, we took a trotro both ways and didn't have to wait very long for one to pass. The breakfast was as expected, eggs and toast with a warm drink.
The wifi had very limited reach and did not work well for me. The hot water did not always work in our room.
