The view was beautiful. Gate access to the bottom of the rocks. Beds were very comfortable. Water pressure in the showers were very good and there was enough hot water. Fridge is large and spacious. The front door is beautiful.
BATHROOMS
The shower floors are extremely slippery and could pose a safety risk.
Two of the bathrooms have extremely small hand basins which are not practical for normal use.
The toilet seat in the second bathroom is smaller than the actual toilet. The toilet itself is also positioned very low to the ground and is uncomfortable and unsuitable for an adult, particularly a grown man.
Third bathroom light was not working.
LIVING & KITCHEN AREA
The furniture in the living area is very disappointing. It appears to be patio/outdoor furniture rather than furniture suitable for a living room. It is extremely uncomfortable and does not provide adequate comfortable seating for four adults.
The mop provided was broken.
There were insufficient drinking glasses. On arrival there was only one beer glass and one whisky glass. The caretaker had to purchase additional glasses which we received the following day.
There was no grater provided.
There were no plastic storage containers.
The walls/areas above the pictures were left dirty and unfinished where holes had been drilled to hang the pictures.
There were no steak knives and not a proper cutlery rack and no drawers. One large sharp knife, one small one and one bread knife.
The kitchen tap is loose.
Although the kitchen is beautiful and visually appealing, it is unfortunately not very practical or adequately equipped for a self-catering unit.
SECOND BEDROOM
The blind is not working properly. It is also significantly oversized—approximately double the size of the window—and does not fit the room aesthetically.
The two three-quarter beds are too large for the size of the bedroom. A double bed would be considerably more practical.
I had to move the bedside table from between the two beds and push the beds together simply to create enough space for the cupboard doors to open properly.
The current layout makes the bedroom feel cramped and difficult to use.
One pillow was provided per person and very soft. No blanket.
