The house is in a neigbourhood that you have to access via a security gate. It was a mission to get to the house because the gps doesn’t take you to the house but says you have arrived at tour destination when you are parking in a deserted street. The host should have communicated beforehand how to reach the house and gave clear instructions how to get to the propperty. At arrivingvat the house there was no key and the premisses was dark. A security gaurd did fetch a key but it was definitely not a smooth check-in experience

This lovely house on its own in a quiet estate is a wonderful place to unwind from the city’s hustle and bustle. If you’re not a fan of the noise from cars and people, this property is perfect for you. You’ll be surrounded by birdsong and feel a real sense of peace. It looks like it’s been recently turned into a rental, which gives it a warm and inviting feel. Overall, it’s a clean house.
On our first day, we had a bit of a snag with the WiFi, which was a bit of a bummer since our teen is a big fan of TV and social media. Plus, the kitchen could have used a little love. I’m a frequent traveller and know the ropes, but this place missed a few important details. There wasn’t a braai area, and the outside veranda was dark, so it wasn’t really usable. The cleaning lady showed up around 8 am, sweeping the yard and it just didn’t feel right. It made us feel like we needed to get ready, like she was about to clean. I love coffee, and that was missing, even though the yard was clean.
