It was an incredibly clean hostel, and in the perfect location
The room was pretty loud in the afternoons, evenings and well into the night. There was music still playing and people yelling after midnight. Kinda just the price you pay for having a prime location in the middle of the town. The host was really nice and helpful on my last day, however before that myself and a few others mentioned that she seemed a little unhappy/short tempered, perhaps because she was the only one working there full time.

Tout ce qui fait le charme d'un hostel. Bon accueil. Belle chambre intime malgré dix lits. Très propre. Excellentes salles de bain.

It was central (around a minute’s walk to the cathedral. It was very clean, had a very calm design and well equipped bathrooms and kitchen.
There were no curtains on the windows and the ‘privacy curtains’ on the beds were rags held up by clothes pegs. When the bells of the cathedral start clanging violently at 6am and the light floods in, it’s hard to sleep. There is no door on the dormitory (more rags) and often people cook pungent food from the kitchen.
A little more ‘TLC’ from those managing the hostel would also be helpful.
