Fairly comfortable stay. Had what we needed for our one night stay and nice and handy to Samford.
Nice large shower and great shower pressure.
Pleasant host who was ok with us checking in a bit earlier.
A bit too rustic. Could do with a good tidy up. Curtains half falling off rods in multiple rooms, cobwebs obvious on back sleepout area, internal was reasonably clean though.
Back garden could do with a good tidy up. Side fence/gate wasn’t in great condition.
Note there are two cabins at the back of property which share the backyard. This should be noted in the listing that it is not exclusive use of grounds.
Can be quite noisy on main road but we half expected this re the location. At least we could walk to pub for dinner which was handy.
Felt the cottage could be improved markedly just with a bit of elbow grease, tidy up etc. For $600 for one night, it felt way too exxy for what was on offer. I get that it costs money to clean and wash sheets etc, but I expect the property to be in very good condition for that sort of cost.
