Die Unfreundlichkeit des Personals hat den Aufenthalt in Ste Maxime leider stark überschattet.
Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, funktional ausgestattet und relativ ruhig.
Die Vielzahl von Tellern, Töpfen, Kühlschränken etc. ist außerordentlich groß, gleichwohl fehlt es an Basics (s.u.).
Die Wohnung hat deutlich weniger Charme als auf den Fotos, gleichwohl ist sie pragmatisch eingerichtet und weist viel Stauraum auf. Ob das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer bequem zum Schlafen ist, wissen wir nicht, es sieht allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen aus. In der Beschreibung ist die Rede von Meerblick und einem Privatstrand. Diese Angaben treffen nicht zu. Um das Meer zu sehen, muss man vom Wintergarten recht stark um die Ecke schauen; es gibt in der Nähe zwei offizielle Strände, an denen man sich niederlassen kann.
Obwohl die Wohnung recht gut ausgestattet ist, fehlte es an einem Geschirrtuch, Handseife, Mülltüten, die man gerne gleich zur Verfügung gehabt hätte.
Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, aber einen Deckenventilator im Schlafzimmer und einen Standventilator im Wohnzimmer. Im Schlafzimmer hört man nachts den Aufzug und auch die Toilettenspülung ist recht laut.
Für Bettwäsche und Handtücher ist eine Extra-Gebühr zu entrichten (der genaue Preis ist mir leider nicht bekannt).
Die Schlüsselübergabe gestaltet sich vor allem dann kompliziert, wenn man über kein Auto verfügt (einen Parkplatz in der Nähe des Apartments zu finden, dürfte schwierig sein), weil Wohnung und Agentur, die dieses Apartment verwaltet, einige Kilometer auseinanderliegen, deshalb hatten wir bei Ankunft gefragt, ob wir den Schlüssel auch vor Ort, also im Briefkasten des Apartments, hinterlegen könnten. Die Mitarbeiterin, die uns bei Ankunft "betreute", bejahte dies. Offensichtlich war dies ein Missverständnis. Kurz vor unserer Abreise hatten wir auch noch mehrere Versuche der Rückversicherung unternommen, aber da die Agentur am WE und auch nicht am früheren Morgen zu erreichen ist, gingen diese Versuch leider schief. Nach Abreise bekamen wir extrem unfreundliche Nachrichten, in denen von Anfang mit dem Einbehalt der Kaution (300€) gedroht und uns schlechtes Benehmen und Fehlverhalten vorgeworfen wurde. Tatsächlich behielt die Agentur 249€ ein.
