We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated 1940s home. The house offered plenty of space and suited our group perfectly, with a quiet neighbourhood and an easy 10‑minute drive to the Bendigo town centre. The modern kitchen and bathroom were excellent, and overall, the home was very comfortable.
It was a challenge having just one mirror in the entire house, which made getting ready a bit tricky for four women. There is one main heater that warmed the living areas well, but we did need to bring an extra heater for the bedrooms during the winter cold.

It was a rather cold week and found that the heating was no where sufficient, in fact bought a second heater to help warm the house up. We loved the house but shall return for a future stay during the warmer months.

New bathroom, New Kitchen, Big Fridge, New Laundry with Second Toilet, Quiet Street, close enough to Town Centre, three bedrooms, spacious lounge, good value for money.
1)Cleanliness - Dirty cloths in laundry cupboard, dust behind doors and shelving, bedside tables. Fridge not clean had half eaten ice cream in freezer, shelves food spillage. Wardrobe in bedroom had dead fly, someone’s bank statements left behind. Dirty stained rug in bedroom with two single beds.
2)Lack of storage in two of three bedrooms. One wardrobe had one hanger. 2/3 bedroom had bed, bedside table and that’s it. No cupboard no chair no table no where to put belongings.
3)No central heating only an old heater in lounge (looks like a relic), the old central heating not working, the ambient electric fireplace not functional either. Bedrooms cold, not even electric blanket.
4) Unhygienic - no pillow protectors pillow smelt funky. Lucky there is a spotlight nearby I bought my own pillow.
5) Funky smell of old cigarette smell especially in back room with the single beds.
6) No fly screen front door.
7) Old furniture, beds uncomfortable. One bed low to ground difficult to get in or out of
*If had new quality furniture, bed linen, the place properly cleaned (Maybe the curtains need a wash, get rid of daggy old curtain get some modern blinds), more furniture in lounge, proper heating, this place would be excellent. Even garden not really appealing. So much potential. But great job on bathroom, kitchen and laundry. Needs the small touches. No tissues, only one tea towel provided, no hairdryer.*
