A great place to rest and relax. The pool is a good size and refreshing for the hot weather. We were graciously permitted to bring our 3 small/medium sized dogs. Perfect to have doors to close off the kitchen by itself (mostly) and upstairs, to keep them corralled, when needed. This home would be perfect for larger groups/separate families as there are multiple living spaces and areas to have privacy while also interacting together. Motion sensor lights at upper and lower stairs very helpful. The owner, Dave, was hands on, cleaning the pool every few days and stopped by for check-in to point out details, etc. Easy communication. Walkable to several dollar stores and also grocery store very close by. Our only minor negatives were that the AC is not central air, uses window units that are noisy if you aren’t used to it, and sometimes “warmer spots” around the home. But still comfortable. Also, this is Dave’s primary home, so we had to work around some items in refrigerator (but there are multiple fridges in separate areas) and other areas of his own items. Minor, but very different from other rentals we have used where owner simply has a locked closet. Lastly, property is riverfront and wooded, during summer use caution when walking in the yard, saw several slithering critters. Overall a lovely place to kick back, but also close to restaurants, coffee and necessities.
