This unique vacation home is located at Varel Harbor, right on the dike, and offers a stunning panoramic view of the Wadden Sea from its rooftop terrace. Driving through a large gate, you’ll pass the east terrace and head straight to your carport, which has space for several vehicles. As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a stylish interior—the owner, an interior designer, has redesigned her parents’ home in a modern maritime style while preserving the older furnishings. Through a spacious entryway with a guest restroom, you first enter a sitting area with a view out to the south terrace and the garden pond. Here you’ll also find the U-shaped kitchen with plenty of counter space. Continuing on, you’ll reach the comfortable dining area and the sunroom. On the first floor, two bathrooms—one with a tub and one with a shower—adjoin the first two bedrooms. In the tower area, you’ll find the other two bedrooms—one decorated in bright, summery beach colors and the other featuring the nautical design of a dark-paneled wheelhouse. From there, you’ll reach the rooftop terrace with a magnificent view of the natural surroundings around Varel Harbor.
