Manningham House is a Carrstone and brick detached house in the pretty traditional village of Ringstead. The village has a pub serving food, a large playground and a locally stocked shop (with curios for sale) all within walking distance. It is perfectly located for visiting the beaches of Holme, Hunstanton, Brancaster, Holkham and Wells and the large houses of Sandringham and Holkam. The beautiful sandy beaches, nature reserves and walks can all be found within a short distance. For keen walkers, Peddars Way and Ringstead Downs are both in Ringstead. The house can accommodate 6 guests (+ 1 baby) and prices include all utility bills, linen (not towels) and tea towels. A high chair and travel cot are provided (but not baby linen). The Aga, woodburner and open fires provide a cosy atmosphere in winter and in summer the sunny garden is perfect for BBQ and table-tennis.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cosy, spacious and beautifully equipped house. Three children (11, 8 and 5) came with us, along with my husband and my mother, and none of them wanted to leave. There was so much for them to enjoy — books, games, toys, and a brilliant table tennis table in the garage.The hosts have thought of everything, including beach accessories like windbreaks and crabbing nets, which we used at Thornham Old Harbour. Brancaster Beach was stunning, and Sandringham Estate was a fantastic day out for the children too.The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were excellent with underfloor heating and lovely showers. The garden was well maintained and felt very safe for the children to play while the adults relaxed.We also had a delicious Sunday lunch at The Gin Tap. A perfect family stay.

This was our second visit to this lovely house and it was perfect - again! It really feels like a home from home. Elizabeth sent a text to check that we’d settled in ok and was very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again for a time in the future! Thank you :-)
