The condo is in a nice location with convenient access to the beach, and we really enjoyed the sunset views from the deck. It was also only about a 12-minute drive into town, making restaurants and other amenities easy to get to.
The condo itself had potential, but unfortunately, the overall attention to cleanliness and maintenance was lacking. The cleaner missed some trash on the floors, and we noticed stains on some of the bedding, which made us question how thoroughly the unit had been cleaned before our arrival.
Both bathrooms had burned-out lightbulbs, and one bathroom was left with only one working bulb, making it quite dark. The towels provided were a microfiber-type fabric, which felt unusual and not particularly comfortable for bath towels. There were also no ice trays available.
Another issue was the lack of a welcome guide or instruction folder. Even a simple sheet with information about the unit and directions to the beach would have been helpful. We had to spend some time figuring things out on our own, including locating the boardwalk that provides beach access.
Most concerning was the condition of the boardwalk itself. Around one of the corners, a section was broken and appeared to be a genuine safety hazard. Someone could easily lose their footing and fall into the cactus below. This is something that should be repaired as soon as possible.
The unit is on the roadside of the building, so sitting on the deck there is road noise, but you can not really hear it inside the unit.
