Absolutely perfect location for exploring south and middle Wales. It’s in the middle of nowhere and at the same time within minutes driving to shops, cafes and restaurants, and also reasonable distance to nearby beaches.
Julie and Sarah are amazing hosts. We’ve been met with Welsh cakes, farm eggs and home made strawberry jam. The overall hospitality level is second to none. Whenever we had a question and contacted hosts - the response was within seconds and always helpful.
It’s a proper off grid retreat house with compost loo and solar panels for electricity, and it shocked us a bit at the beginning (purely because of the website system mixing the information of both properties the hosts hold there and missing to show some bits on this particular summer house), but it was fully adaptable and the rest of the usual amenities are all there, it was a nice experience overall. We needed the place to stay overnight as we were travelling most of the time, but waking up to the stunning view, eating breakfast and having an evening walk in the fields is amazing.
Thanks a lot for my birthday trip retreat stay and a huge thanks to Julie and Sarah for being such wonderful hosts.

Peaceful location, well equipped, the hosts we lovely. Watching the birds feed on the deck in the morning and star gazing at night- topped everything!
Didn’t have a fridge - but ice packs and cooler box were provided.
