Location is really beautiful. There is a river nearby where you can walk around. Great place to escape the city for a one night!

River and Roots Resort is located about 15 km away from the city beside a small river. It is on top of a hill, so the last 300m is a bit tricky to climb on a vehicle but Mr Pushpendra (owner) or his staff are always there to help out or drive the vehicle themselves to the car parking area. The family suites on the top floor are very tastefully decorated and offer splendid views of the hills from their balconies which have beautiful sea-green single-seater sofas. The staff are very helpful, attentive and provide very tasty food at the outdoor restaurant. Overall, we had a memorable stay and highly recommend for a quiet getaway from the hectic city life.

Amazing location, nestled right beside a forest atop a small hill with a view of a river flowing down below. Waking up to chirping of birds was just so relaxing!
The rooms are a tad small and the last mile drive up to the resort is a bit tricky. Must add that the hosts were super helpful, and offered to help me with the last mile connectivity throughout my stay since my driver couldn't make that climb.

The rooms at the upper floor are amazing, very well taken care of. The staff was really nice. They created a bonfire for us at night. The food was delicious. The owner Pushpender was always taking care of us.
The place is silent surrounded by nature and allows you to escape the noise and the heat. Highly recommended
