This place was so much better than any hotel. We had quiet and privacy and were even greeted by two deer near the cornfields. Also beautifully appointed and clean beyond the standards that most places fail to achieve.

Our stay at Cattail Cabin was nothing short of perfect. The space was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed—tastefully appointed without ever feeling overdone. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, welcoming, and comfortable—a place I was genuinely excited to share with my daughter for a peaceful weekend away from the pressures of school.
The layout is both cozy and spacious, with comfortable bedrooms and the added convenience of two full bathrooms. The kitchen is beautifully updated with modern appliances and granite countertops, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. We especially appreciated the radiant heat, which added an extra layer of comfort during our stay.
Natural light fills the home, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. There are multiple spaces to relax and unwind—from the enclosed back porch/entry to the charming east-facing front porch and the comfortable living room. Every detail felt intentional, right down to the brand-new, plush towels and the availability of full laundry on-site.
The host was excellent—easy to reach and highly responsive, which made the entire experience seamless.
There was nothing not to like!
