The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist us whenever we needed anything. One thing we particularly appreciated was that we arrived before the official check-in time, but since our room was already ready, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early.
The location was convenient, with easy access to Tbilisi's main attractions. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, away from the main road, so there was very little outside traffic noise.
The room was clean, especially the bed linen and bedding, which were exceptionally clean and fresh. Having a balcony with chairs was also a nice bonus.
The main drawback was the age of the building and the room. Both felt quite old, and the bathroom had outdated renovations. There were visible signs of moisture on the wallpaper, and when we first entered the room, there was a strong damp smell. Fortunately, after turning on the heating and opening the window, the smell gradually disappeared.
I should mention that while browsing hotels in Tbilisi on Booking.com, I noticed that many properties seemed to have similar issues with older buildings and interiors. So, I got the impression that this is not necessarily a problem unique to this particular hotel.
The hot water supply also seemed limited. Since we booked a double room, the first person had a comfortable shower, but the water started getting cold towards the end of the second person's shower.
Wi-Fi reception was weak. Also, some noise from the corridor could be heard inside the room, especially when other guests spoke loudly.
There was no daily room cleaning during our stay. However, this was not a problem for us, as the room was already clean when we arrived and we also made an effort to keep it tidy ourselves.
