The apartment was quite large (sep. bedroom) and very well equipped. No toiletries.
The location was phantastic in a side street from the Grand Place - centre - and close to all points for visiting.
The apartment was managed by a local agency - which seemed a bit inflexible. The security deposit was actually a steep and mandatory Euro 500 - not Euro 250 as advertised - and handled by a complicated Third Party (Bonding) agency. The hosts also presented an elaborate schedule of fines and penalties if one did not follow the elaborate hose rules incl. some ridiculous garbage directions ... all a bit over the top.

An excellent location for exploring. Close to a train station, supermarket and cafes.
The long narrow flight of 24 stairs to access the apartment was a challenge, especially with luggage.

The location, very central
Overly complicated instructions and charges to be aware of for not taking the rubbish out. Checking and checkout form to fill in with pictures.
We had a power cut in the evening and it was impossible to reach anyone until the next day. When we got through to someone we were told to contact a specific email address we had already tried that didn’t answer. We left a message on Booking.com as well and only got automatic messages. For information, the fuse box is in the toilet, a note would have been useful about that.
We also got locked out once, the code was correct and the lock seemed to be turning but the door wouldn’t open, we got lucky that someone left the building and let us in.
