Apartment was well equipped and clean. Easy location for anyone travelling without own car because the bus stop, shops and restaurants are within a couple of minutes walking distance. Good wifi for remote working. Easy access to the building after you receive the code to the lock box where the keys are stored.
I've visited Äkäslompolo before so I knew that the building is literally located in the middle of a parking lot with no views to mention, but it might come as a surprise to someone visiting for the 1st time and looking for peace and quiet in authentic Lappish surroundings. Check-out time is early and there's no luggage storaging facilities on site. On Booking.com the apartment was described as One bedroom apartment, but there's no separate bedroom, it's a studio where everything is in the same room (photos on booking.com are accurate).
