The hosts were fantastic ... so helpful and easy to get on with. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh and the location was perfect. The garden area was so lovely to sit out in with a glass of wine or two ... we were very lucky with the weather to enable us to take advantage of this. Wonderful to be able to spend time in such a special place. The accommodation is well thought out and the drop-down double bed was a great space saver. The bathroom was great too ... the shower was easy to use, powerful and warm and there were plenty of towels provided ... the toiletries were gorgeous.
It's not so much things that we didn't like ... I slept in the bottom bunk bed which was really comfortable but I couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without being hunched over but do realise that the space is maximised to enable families to stay and isn't a criticism as such. The lighting could definitely be brighter in the bunkbed room but know this could be due to planning/conversion restrictions.

Cozy, friendly, beautiful and quiet place right in the heart of the town. Perfect peaceful place for a couple. The garden is perfect for a pleasant evening in the company of your loved one. Just no words to describe how beautiful and lovely this place is. Recommended 💯%

Fantastic location! Just a short stroll to the center. Richard popped by to greet us. Louise was prompt and clear with responses to questions. Great hosts! The "room" is a refurbished train carriage with a small kitchen area, compact seating area, murphy-style pull-down bed in the seating area, a small bathroom and a back bedroom with bunk beds. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well-appointed. The decor is high-end with several clever touches. Obviously, this carriage was refurbished with a lot of love! The outdoor seating areas are charming!
The bunk bed is quite short and the head clearance quite low. I slept in the top bunk because the bottom one felt too claustrophobic. Although I'm 65, I'm still agile, but I had to pull a chair into the tiny room to stand on to reach the top bunk since the ladder is too small. In the living room, the murphy bed took the entire room, so it would need to be put up every morning for longer stays.
