Location in the best place for what we needed.
Easy to explore and good for our group.
The Cabin was very cosy and warm and rustic which was what we were looking for.
The host was very helpful and friendly.
We will be returning.
The kitchen sink was a bit blocked .We did report this but in fairness to the owner it was late.
He did offer to sort it out including the wash up of dishes.
Very helpful.

A really cute little cabin at the end of the garden, with a nice veranda and in good weather a lovely seating area. Beds were comfy and one had an electric blanket, which in a storm proved to be invaluable 😊 log fire was lovely and access to sky tv. Host was very pleasant and accommodating.
Really does need a toilet and shower in the cabin, that would have made it absolutely perfect. The outside toilet was fine but in bad weather walking to the top of the garden can be very chilly and wet and we didn’t try the outside shower as that was far too cold, probably nice in summer. The host very kindly allowed us to use the house shower if we needed to.

This log cabin on Tanybwlch Road was the absolute highlight of our trip to North Wales! The location is second to none if you are visiting for Zip World or hiking in Snowdonia—the mountain trails are practically right outside your doorstep.
Inside, the cabin has an amazing, rustic character but doesn't skimp on the essentials. The open-plan living space is massive, and the kitchen is fully loaded with a huge cooker and American fridge, which would make cooking big group meals after a long day on the hills a total joy. The wood burner kept us incredibly cozy, and having fast fiber Wi-Fi and Sky TV was a great bonus. Sitting outside by the fire pit under the stars was the perfect way to end the evenings. The host was fantastic, communicative, and made sure we had everything we needed.
It definitely has a rustic, outdoor spirit with the outdoor quarryman’s toilet and outdoor cold shower but for me this just adds to the authentic mountain experience. Just come prepared with a true "mountain mentality" and enjoy the off-grid (not so off grid) vibe!
