What a treat after arriving at night to tranquilly awake to an amazing view of the Pisac ruins from the bedroom.
This home is a great base between the main town and the ruins.
There are yoga and plant medicine retreats very close and if like me you need emergency oxygen for altitude sickness, help is right next door.
There is a motor taxi/tuk tuk stop less than 100m from the home but hailing one is just as easy. It’s AUD$.85c into town (and double back) but also a lovely stroll.
Outside, the home has a firepit and enough space for yoga. I liked when meditating that there’s a glimpse of the mountains from one area of the garden. I was alone but it would be great as a couple too with this social space, plus it has a full size fridge, large kitchen downstairs and spacious bedroom upstairs while still being quaint.
The washing machine and drying rack were well appreciated, as was the service from the host. Karina is a kind, friendly and attentive host who was a pleasure to deal with.
Tips… if there is no kindling, keep an eye out on your walk, there’s always something on route.
Know where the lights are for nighttime bathroom visits as it’s outside downstairs.

Rustic vibe, really cute place to chill a few days and it was nice to be able to try my hand at cooking Peruvian food with local ingredients from the market in Pisac. A short tuk tuk ride to town and great views from upstairs
Having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night but it was ok
