The property itself has a lot of potential, a great location that is quiet but still within easy walking distance of town, a beautiful pool and a spacious layout.
Unfortunately, the service really let it down. We arrived late at night to find no bottled water and very limited toilet roll, and despite reporting a very unpleasant smell coming from the toilet, nobody came to investigate or fix it during our six-night stay. There was also very little information provided when collecting the keys or about what was expected during our stay.
The furniture is quite dated and, at over €1,800 for six nights, I expected a much higher standard of service and attention to detail. I’ve stayed in Kalkan many times and unfortunately this was the poorest service I’ve experienced. It’s a shame, because with a few relatively small improvements, this could be a really lovely place to stay.
