disappointed, overpriced, falsely advertised. 7 min "walk" if you're running, more like 11 min walk
accessing the house was easy due to a door code for access. but otherwise nothing.
first and foremost, the listing stated that there was a porch, dishwasher and washer/dryer. the patio was shared with another unit that was also booked for the same time frame (not with our party), there was no dishwasher, and the washer/ dryer was downstairs for 3+ units to use and the hosts were using it for washing bedding etc. the outdoor stairs up to the house were rickety, broken and unsafe, and the listing also did not note that all bedrooms and bathrooms/ living spaces were upstairs- a steep narrow stairs. the indoor stairs had carpeting that was lifting up and a tripping hazard. there was no living room/ dining room, one of the "beds a futon that bowed in the middle" was the couch and the dining table was crammed into that space also. the blinds were broken in every room but especially bad in the bathroom. it was eye level for people to see your butt if standing or breasts if sitting. the refrigerator wouldn't stay shut and when you shut the fridge the freezer popped open. a one cup coffee pot for a 9-person listing. only 1 dish towel in the kitchen since we had to wash dishes by hand it was not ideal, and a used 1/4 roll of toilet paper was re-sealed with a stamp and left for us to use. a desk in front of the dresser so you cant use the dresser unless you move the desk but there was nowhere to move the desk. missing doorknob from "living room" to one of the bedrooms. kitchen stove top not cleaned prior to arrival. a rickety desk in the "living room" being used as a doorstop leading into the hallway. the fire alarm between the 2 back bedrooms chirped the entire time we were there. there was no information sent via the listing or a book in the house to provide us information about the parking, trash, check out/ departing, or recommendations for food, stores, etc in the vicinity. there was also no pens or paper to make notes. we had to message the host on several occasions to gather the information.
