Enormously spacious outside area with a fantastic pool and various locations to sit in the shade and a fantastic view. Also the house itself features spacious rooms and various bathrooms to accommodate big groups comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped. You can spend your days just there at the house (at least if it’s warm) or reach Lucca easily by car. Communication was very easy and Alice very responsive & helpful.
The equipment inside the house is a bit outdated and basic (coffee machine, knives, etc). The living room is not that cozy so definitely more a place for summer holidays. Unfortunately, the street is right next to the house and Italian drivers honk a lot so if you are sensitive to noise, this might be worth considering.

Het is een heel ruim huis, met veel grond er omheen en een mooie tuin. Het was fijn dat bijna alle slaapkamers horren hadden en luiken (daardoor lekker donker).
Het huis was mooi schoon. Er zijn genoeg extra dekens voor een frisse nacht. De keuken is erg compleet uitgerust.
De dame met wie we contact hadden over de sleutel was erg vriendelijk.
Er was gedoe rondom de toeristenbelasting. Bij de boeking geeft booking aan dat het inclusief alle kosten is. Uiteindelijk moesten we toch nog toeristenbelasting betalen. De eerste dagen was het zwembad niet heel erg schoon. Na een dag of twee zijn ze geweest om de tuin en het zwembad te doen. Toen was het mooi schoon.
