The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood, yet it is very well connected with several bus routes nearby, making it easy to reach both by car and public transport. The key collection process was smooth and convenient thanks to the non-contact check-in, and the host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in a little earlier than originally planned. The building itself is fascinating. It appears to have been thoughtfully converted from an old industrial or factory-related structure into modern loft-style apartments. The renovation has been done with great care, preserving the character of the original building while providing all the comforts of contemporary living. The exterior is particularly striking, and the inclusion of a lift is a welcome feature. Just a short walk away is a charming restaurant called Navetta, itself located in a beautifully restored former cowshed - recommended! The apartment matched the description well and comfortably accommodated our family of five, including three children. The kitchen was fully functional and equipped with everything we needed, including a dishwasher. Having a washing machine available was another major advantage for a family stay. A special mention goes to the thoughtful provision of both dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent. These small details make a real difference for travellers and demonstrate genuine consideration for guests' needs. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this accommodation to families and anyone looking for a comfortable, characterful place to stay in a lovely setting. Well done!
As for the downsides, the apartment has central ventilation (very dusty, btw) but no air conditioning. Because the apartment is located on the top floor and the building has a dark-coloured roof, it becomes uncomfortably hot during warm summer days. The small fan in the living room provides very limited relief and is simply not sufficient for a space of this size. In our view, proper air conditioning is genuinely needed. Ventilating the apartment is also difficult, as not all windows can be opened – the largest bedroom, for example, has no opening window at all. We were also somewhat disappointed by the level of cleanliness. The apartment would benefit from a more thorough deep clean. In addition, there was a noticeable unpleasant odour in the bathroom, possibly coming from the drain, although we did not investigate the cause further. The polyester bedding unfortunately made the heat issue even more challenging. During the very warm afternoon and night, the bedding felt uncomfortable and retained heat, which affected the quality of our sleep. Overall, the apartment has many strengths, including its unique character, convenient location and practical amenities. However, improving the cooling, cleanliness and bedding would significantly enhance the guest experience, particularly during the summer months.

Propreté des placards de la cuisine et de la salle d'eau. Problèmes d'ouverture des fenêtres.
Pas de manuel ou de brochure d'accueil (on est pas familier aux usages de la Finlande - on a besoin d'aide pour les poubelles/sauna). Communication uniquement en finlandais.
