About this house rental
Amazing Tampa Bay house on huge 1+ acre lot. Beautiful Cypress wood exterior with a total of 3 bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms. Will sleep 7 people. Master bedroom & kids room have private bathrooms w/walk-in showers. Fully furnished kitchen, laundry room, huge 85" HD smart TV, outdoor dining area on porch that seats 6, two-car garage, and access to a two-story 175 ft long dock with sundeck, outside shower, & fish cleaning station. Enjoy swimming, kayaking & fishing right off the dock.
Year-round carnival within walking distance and several good restaurants in the area.
15 minutes from Busch Gardens and a short 20 minute drive on I-75 to downtown Tampa.

To start off I want to say we had a wonderful vacation and made the best of what we had. We had beds to sleep in and an AC and fridge that worked. We enjoyed the dock (needs some TLC) and even saw dolphins 1 afternoon. We played in the pool. The 1st 5 days the grass was not cut and LONG. It was like walking in a jungle to get to the pool - Like up to our calves long. Once it was cut the lawn crew did a half ass job. Cut half the grass, left grass clippings everywhere and left large branches in the walkways. The pool stairs - broken set on the pool deck and the set to get into the pool was not secured (quite dangerous when kids and Grandma is trying to get in/out of the pool). The house itself - Big issues - considerable water damage that hasn't been properly taken care of and some sketchy electrical work. The floors were saggy from the water damage, water stains on many of the walls, and a noticeable moldy/mildew smell throughout the house (especially when opening up the kitchen cabinets)Smaller issues - if taken care of would have made the place much nicer - running main toilet that leaked all over the floor, broken shower handle, broken cabinets, broken front door handle, wonky front steps, plenty of pillows but only a few pillow cases for them, 4 forks, 3 beach towels (this house sleeps 7), no kitchen towels, sparse kitchen utensils, old water filter and a grill with 3 legs and no grill utensils. The house/property has potential but needs some love.
