Very peaceful and quiet oasis in the wonderful Sea Point area of Cape Town, close to the beach and bustling areas like Camps Bay and VA Waterfront. The combination of the historic boutique style hotel with overall wonderful staff made this stay top tier in Cape Town.

Would have liked a fridge in the room, but that's a minor point.

The property is in an upmarket location with fantastic ocean and sea views. The public spaces are well laid out with comfortable seating and spaces to relax. The outside area has a nice lawn for kids to play and a plunge pool. At night the staff light a fire in the fire pit where you can relax and chat. The staff are also very friendly and try to accommodate any need. The breakfast in the morning was delicious - I recommend the eggs Benedict with salmon.

Beautiful property and facilities, with friendly and welcoming staff.

Service was inconsistent. Housekeeping was unreliable, with towels and bath mats not always changed and the room once not cleaned at all. Breakfast quality also varied depending on the chef.
