Very close to the Avene thermal center (20 min walk by foot, 5 min drive) and located in the charming village of Avene. The owner prepared a travel cot for our baby, although we had to provide our own bedding. The apartment was spacious, and the amenities were great for a family of 4 staying for 3 weeks (washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen). The person who checked us in was responsive, friendly, and provided us with towels and suggestions for local entertainment. The air conditioning worked really well and kept us cool in the summer heat wave.
The cleanliness could have been improved. There were lots of cobwebs and no toilet paper when we arrived; the baby mattress was old and dirty, and some of the extra bedding did not seem like it had been washed. We did not use the terrace space at all as it was full of leaves and debris. It should also be noted that the apartment is located up a very steep hill, and the house has many steps throughout that would not make it a good choice for anyone with limited mobility.
