Staying at Aggeliki’s house was one of the most special parts of our trip to Chios.
The house has been beautifully restored while preserving the original character and architecture of the old building. You can really feel the atmosphere and history of Mesta inside the house, but at the same time, every little detail has been carefully considered for the comfort of the guests.
It was not just a place to stay, but a real Mesta village experience. If you want to feel the unique medieval atmosphere of Mesta and experience the village in an authentic way, this is definitely the place to stay.
Aggeliki made the experience even more special. She told us so much about the history of the village, shared local recommendations, and was always very kind, flexible and helpful whenever we needed anything.
We truly felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. It was a beautiful, authentic and memorable experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.
