Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

Hotel was easy to access. The Pulic Ateas, Loungecand restaurant were very nice and appeared clean. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were pleasant and well equipped.

The Spa area/pool was in need of a refresh, with some areas looking positively dirty! Food was ok but a few of the dishes we ate were very overcooked.

Had a nice stay at the hotel, lovely lounge and restaurant, buffet breakfast is really good, great selection of food. Bar prices are quite expensive.

Advertised as a Spa! Was old fashioned and more like a council run swimming baths, pool area wasn’t nice, pool had missing covers in pool outlets so looked worn and tatty. Sofa bed uncomfortable. No water or tumblers provided in room. Only half a toilet roll provided so had to phone for more. Also reception had no details about reservations and additional extras ordered. Had to have repeated conversations about same with different staff. Then was overcharged and staff unable to deal with it, so spent another half hour trying to check out and get manager to sort final bill.
