The area was residential and quieter than the central area of Naples. We had already spent 3 days in Central Naples and wanted two days of R&R for the last two days of our trip. Our host Marco was friendly and accommodating. The apartment was spacious, clean and had an amazing, private rooftop area for us to enjoy. Excellent place to stay for your base and could easily accommodate 4 people. If I was to return to Naples - this would be the place to stay but would consider staying longer that 2 days.
If you are in Naples for 2 days - this may not be the place to stay. You do have to use public transportation to get anywhere. However, Marco would be very helpful in this regard.

Fantástico soggiorno a Napoli nel quartiere Chiaia, uno dei miei preferiti perché vibrante, vicinissimo al mare e vicino al centro storico e al porto. L'appartamento è bello, confortevole, con una cucina comodissima. Ed è pulitissimo. L'accesso al.terrazzo sul.tetto, poi, una chicca, per vedere albe e t
ramonti. Grazie! Torneremo di sicuro e lo raccomandiamo vivamente. Marco, il nostro ospite, è stato gentilissimo e accorto.

Marco was waiting outside the gate to meet us. The flat is on the 5th floor but there is a lift, the roof terrace was big and solely for us, the views are fantastic ( though the stairs up there might be a problem if you have any mobility problems). Nearest metro station is 5 mins walk away and takes you to Montesanto which is a 5-10 min walk from the Spanish Quarter and Centro Storico.
