Luxury Maison Cherie - Positano Charme & Sea View

It was a wonderful stay. A converted villa low on the Positano coast. Tremendous views and we felt special in this exclusive villa. Carlo welcomed us and was available any time we needed help. Rhuby, the house keeper, took care of us with breakfast every morning and laundry service (no charge but thank her with a tip) which was perfect since this was midway in our trip. The special bonus is a private hot tub on the balcony. Tip don’t set it to the highest temp. Hit 108 degrees!

There is one thing travelers need to know… the city is on a cliff and there are stairs everywhere. The property is beneath the road and there are many steps to reach it. We did fine but might not be a fit for all travelers.

Uno dei soggiorni più spettacolari del nostro viaggio. La posizione è perfetta: vista mozzafiato sulla celebre collina di Positano e sul mare, in pieno centro e vicinissima alla spiaggia principale. La via d'accesso è una delle principali del paese, piena di ristoranti e negozi, e a due passi dal famoso negozio di ceramiche dove tutti si fermano per le foto (non ne abbiamo nemmeno sentito il bisogno, perché la vista dalla nostra camera era ancora più bella). Consiglio vivamente la camera vista mare. La colazione, servita su una terrazza con lo stesso panorama, era meravigliosa, e l'architettura, con le tipiche e affascinanti maioliche della Costiera, è incantevole.

L'unico aspetto da segnalare è il numero di scale all'interno della struttura. Ma sono proprio loro a regalare una delle viste più privilegiate di Positano, e chi viene a Positano sa che le scale fanno parte del fascino e della vita del paese!

The views of Positano were absolutely amazing. The welcome glass of sparkling wine was a lovely touch, and the concierge was excellent on WhatsApp, showed us around, and explained everything clearly.

It is more like an Airbnb or bed and breakfast than a hotel, so do not expect full hotel service. Finding it initially was difficult, and there are around 100 stairs each way with no assistance for luggage, so be prepared for a workout.
